In 1929, at the age of 17, L. Ron Hubbard was the first to capture a full seven turns of the Great Wall of China, with the structure fully intact, in this rare photograph taken near Nan-kou Pass, west of Beijing. His photographs of Asia were purchased by Underwood and Underwood stock photo house and National Geographic.
