Using LRH’s cimemagraphic and artistic discoveries Golden Era Productions produces, in-house, all Dianetics and Scientology training and dissemination films.

In particular, he objected to psychology’s intrusion into the art as advocated by proponents of the Stanislavsky Method, and that widely held Stanislavskian notion that the actor must “graft” his own psychological suffering onto a role through what has been perplexingly described as “a free flow of psychic energy from his unconscious.” Regardless of meaning, it is a protracted and emotionally painful process and, as Ron unequivocally determined, “directly contrary to the role of an artist.” Thus came the eighteen LRH essays to effectively redefine that art of acting from first rehearsal to final performance. At the heart of those essays, and drawn from key Scientology truths relating to human capabilities and makeup, is a wholly new idea of just how the actor assumes a role. That is, how he first conceives of a character--how that character might walk, speak and gesture–and one then flawlessly takes on the part. Specifically, Ron describes the process as assuming a character’s beingness, and noted it was natural and relatively quick. Of course, mastering the art of assuming beingness requires some study and practice, but it certainly need not prove arduous, and particularly so given the LRH drills to help the actor master that art of assuming a beingness. Also very significantly included are the ways and means of employing the Scientology Emotional Tone Scale to provide–not the nine or ten (at best) generally acknowledged emotions from elation to despair–but the full fifty-nine emotions available to any being.

No less revolutionary, is the LRH statement on sound recording. As a preliminary word, and typically to the point, he explains, “There are no textbooks concerning the operator side of the field of sound recording, mixing and transferring.” Consequently, and just as pointedly: “I have undertaken to make available where needed, precise and useful data on the subject of operation of sound equipment.” What inevitably followed is a body of LRH instructional works on sound recording defining a much talked about sound technology known as Clearsound, and exclusively utilized by Scientology’s Golden Era Productions. In a word, that technology has led to an excellence in recording and reproduction virtually surpassing all industry standards.
